'Smoothness, precision and a consistent feel are what I look for in a piste ski. I am not the racer type, I prefer a ski that challenges me technically, but does not break my bones doing so. For many recreational European skiers, a versatile piste ski is all they need'.SkillsFitnessSpeedLength: 182 cmWeight: 85 kgMy favourite piste skis:1.2.3.Grown-up and intelligentAs far as consumer GS skis go, this Head i.Speed is the most versatile of the bunch.

All of these skis of all major brands bring phenomenal edge hold, stability, snow-busting performance to the party. But only a few of them seem intelligent enough not to go completely berserk if you let them out of your sight for a second. Like a perfectly decent grown-up it guides you just trough anything you may encounter on the slopes. It even has better dampening skills than its direct competitors. It’s nice to keep your knees whole.
The Head WC Rebels i.GSR's full retail price is €599.95. The Ski is roughly €280 cheaper than the average price of all Race Inspired Skis, making it an affordable entry-level model.
In need of constant attentionEven though I find this ski simply superb, there is one thing that I should mention. It needs an active skier to keep it alive. You do not need to ski is aggressively or with a lot of force – it just needs continuous input. It does ride on its own perfectly well, but it can feel a bit sluggish and even dead.
You just have to keep tickling it, be mad at it, love it – it’s a bit like a high maintenance girlfriend that has a life of her own, but much rather lets you spend your money on her. But when you give her the goods and the attention she craves. Boy, are you in for the ride of your life! Head about the Worldcup Rebels i.Speed'You’ll need your race head on to step into the Worldcup Rebels i.Speed.
This high-powered race ski delivers a smooth punch through turns thanks to the ABS sidewalls and is rammed with speed giving features like KERS, Intelligence Technology, a Race structured UHM C base, our hand built Worldcup Sandwich Construction and the bite and beef of Rebel camber. Watch out this little brother of the Worldcup Rebels i.Speed Pro, it’s FAST!' I particularly like the 'smooth punch'.
